MIDDLE RIO GRANDE

Middle Rio Grande: Litigation in federal court using the ESA to challenge federal agency mismanagement of water operations and irrigation diversions, to protect the critically-endangered Rio Grande silvery minnow and restore the native bosque habitat of the river corridor.  We won important legal victories about the Bureau of Reclamation's duties under the ESA in 2002 and 2003.
