Kristin graduated from Cornell with a BS in Biology in 1999 and spent the next two years fighting to protect roadless areas in the Clearwater basin of Idaho with Friends of the Clearwater.
She received a Masters of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School in 2002; and then got her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2005, where she was on the winning team for the 2004 national environmental moot court competition.
Kristin spent the last two years as a staff attorney with the Oregon Natural Desert Association,
working on grazing and public lands management.
She joined Advocates for the West in December
2007, and works on both the Sagebrush Sea and
Northern Rockies projects.
